Description

Original pressing of Thelonius Monk and John Coltrane self-titled record on the orange Bill Grauer labels of Jazzland JLP 46.  The record appears to be in new, unplayed condition, with a high luster; some surface imprinting from the paper inner sleeve. The cover is bright and clean thoughout: 1/4" nick on top edge; clean cracking of paper along spine, but no split or paper loss.  For those who are unfamiliar with this record, the material is all unique to this album, consisting of unreleased takes from Riverside sessions.

Personnel includes Coleman Hawkins, Gigi Gryce, and Art Blakey.
