Mogwai - Special Moves (3 x 12" Vinyl Test Pressing ROCKACT 48)
Rare test pressing for the live album 'Special Moves'. Was never played just kept as part of my Mogwai record collection.
From Wikipedia: Test pressings, usually with test pressing written on the label, with catalogue number, artist and recording time or date, are the first vinyl discs made at the factory. They are produced in small quantities (usually under five copies) to evaluate the quality of the disc before mass production begins.
Condition: I try to describe any item the best I can but it's hard to describe the condition of test pressings but I've never played these records. As stated above test pressings are to test how the record sounds or for any faults. I don't see any scratches but Side A1/A2 & B1 have small marks (pictured above) I have no idea how it plays/sounds. Each record has 'ROCKACT48 with record side i.e. A-1 etched onto the run out groove (zoon in on pic 10) Also has scribbled marks on the etching on the run out groove on one side (zoom in on pic 11) Please look at all pictures for a better description.
