Description

Original deep-groove "ear" pressing of Miles Davis "Volume 1" on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 1501. The record has a flat rim and the playing surface is in near-new condition; perhaps played once or twice. The non-laminated cover has the kakibuchi construction (crease on spine and top) and Lexington Avenue address; bright and clean throughout; slight rubbing along bottom seam; ¼" tear at top of back slick. Personnel includes Jackie McLean, Jimmy Heath, and Art Blakey.
