Description: This is a nice copy of Miles Davis on Blue Note. Very heavy flat edge vinyl without any deep marks. Mostly only surface scuffs and sleeve lines. Looks fine and plays well as most Lexington pressings with occasional soft vintage background crackle which is overpowered by the loud and strong dynamic playback! No skips and sticks. No loud ticks and pops. Very nice vinyl that will play well on most systems. The labels are clean. The folder has moderate shelf wear. No splits! Front and back gives a nice impression. Great jazz and a much collectable item.

All the items are described to the best of my ability (with help from guides like golmine and my own picky experience) and if anyone should be unhappy with an item I will do my best to rectify any problems that should arise. EX....very very nice with a few inaudible lines. looks and plays super
VG+..nice with some surface lines, only some very light background sound at times
VG....plays/looks ok, playing with some crackle/few ticks, pops from surface lines/scratches
VG-...crackles, ticks and pops are common heard mostly between tracks and base solos of course. Enjoyed record.
G......frequently with crackles, ticks, pops.


The equipment that’s been used for playgrading is as follows: TT1-Thorens TD150 with Hadcock RH228 and Grado Platinum. TT2-Thorens TD160B MK II modified with SME 3009 unimproved and Denon 103R. H/K citation 17S, Thorens TMA2000 mono blocks, Pioneer HPM100.

I have gone through all the records that I have listed to check again if they're properly graded and I'm happy to tell that it looks well and it'll make many happy. As for this auction I have unfortunately missed side B in all the processing and it has a couple of three marks/scratches in the beginning with obvious crackle that isn't overpowered by music. Tune 3 is a ballad that's affected by crackling as well. For all other tunes on this record it sounds swell on both sides! Therefore together with visual inspection I can only give the record a VG grading so bid accordingly! I hope you forgive me! regards imoto1975
