CONDITION:
Sleeve: The front cover is VG++ with the white section showing some very light wear and some very light foxing. The black & white photo is sharp & clear w/ no ring wear but does have some small light scratches (shown in photo #3). The back cover has some light wear. Has a little light spine, bottom seam & opening edge wear. Has a light partial 1" split at the bottom right corner. Original "frame style" cover.
Record: Looks beautiful and Mint- w/ super high original gloss w/ just a few light surface scuffs and a small mark on Track 4, Side B that causes 1 extremely light background tick. It's almost inaudible if you aren't listening intently. I play graded this entire LP. Some parts play a fantastic Mint- but there are some sections of tracks 3 & 5, Side A and tracks 1, 3 & 6, Side B that play w/ just a little light random background needle distortion/surface noise. Not bad and not very pronounced but it is evident. Even those passages still have great sound presence as does the rest of the LP / By the spindle hole it looks like this LP has been played a little but handled very carefully. / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Very nice original 1955 deep groove flat edge copy w/ 767 Lexington Ave NYC label. Has "ear" and RVG (Rudy Van Gelder) in the dead wax.
