Description
This is the original stereo pressing of Miles Davis “Diggin’” on the black and silver labels of Prestige PRST 7281. The playing surface has two light inaudible handling marks and a pressing bubble at the very end of Side B that makes two soft clicks; perhaps played once or twice. The laminated cover has three sharp corners and is bright and clean throughout. The back is signed by Miles in red ink and by Sonny in black. It is interesting to note that during signings, Sonny will very his signature consecutively; he may do the large florid signature with which he most familiar, then go to a more vertical style, and then to printing. Obviously, even with his signature, he doesn’t like to repeat himself. Personnel include Jackie McLean, Walter Bishop Jr., Tommy Potter, and Art Blakey. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. Please do not bid unless you are comfortable providing credit card information directly. The “Blue Note Records” book – “A Guide for Identifying Original Pressings” is now available on eBay.
