Very early Prestige Issue on Yellow and Black Label with Prestige Records,Inc. 203 South Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J. with RVG on label.

This is from a batch of original issue lps I recently acquired. I have play tested all the way through on my high end system and it plays fine all the way but has some noise.

The cover is tight but shows wear after more than 50 years.

Grading Scale

NM - near perfect, played rarely if ever.

VG++ - almost like new with only superficial signs of use that dont affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to VG++.

VG+ - vinyl may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or light scratches that don't affect the sound.

VG - surface noise will be noticeable,but will not overpower the music.

Good does not mean bad! The record still plays through without skipping, so it can serve as filler until something better comes along. But it has significant surface noise and groove wear, and the label is worn, with significant ring wear, heavy writing, or obvious damage caused by someone trying to remove tape or stickers and failing miserably. A Good to VG– cover has ring wear to the point of distraction, has seam splits obvious on sight and may have even heavier writing, such as, for example, huge radio station letters written across the front to deter theft.
