Artist=Miles Davis and the Modern Jazz Giants [with Thelonious Monk, Sonny Rollins, Milt Jackson, Horace Silver, Percy Heath, Kenny Clarke] 2-LPs’ worth of music on one disc, as was the custom for these rare 16-rpm releases.

Disc has been played almost not at all. One needle mark doesn’t sound, and one small bit of (organic, apparently) matter sounds for 4 revolutions but may be removable through cleaning. Jacket is strong but not perfect: 8” seam split along bottom edge. Back cover has a 2” tear midway, and two 1960s prices written in magic marker. W 50th Street labels. These rare 16rpms I don’t believe had multiple pressings. Deep Groove; white-on-black label, as was customary for the 16s. This is believed to be the first release of the chatter scraps preceding two takes. Rare cover design by Reid Miles.
Cleaning House. First batch was pop and shows; then avant garde, and this one is mainstream Jazz. All items are play-graded and as described. Will combine shipping for wins of multiple records. Shipping at cost to all parts of the world. Media rate to USA unless you specify otherwise.
