Description

Mike Vickers – on the brink/ the puff adder, Columbia DB 7657. very rare instrumental double sider from Vickers issued in 1965 which was also his debut release. The a-side is the theme from the “Wednesday night play series” on the bbc and is a fast and rather unusual brass and piano tinged number with the b-side being a much better jazzy soul track with heavy sax and hard piano along with clarinet and brass sections. Is in vg condition visually due to light hairline surfacewear but both sides play absolutely fine bar crackle at the very start of both tracks.
