Description

One of the rarest collector recordings. Incredibly life-like sound quality, it's like hearing it live in your listening room.   Capitol records of the 1950's commonly had a dozen or so almost inaudible tics, this has about a dozen. Visually there is a 3/8" light scratch on side one with only a single faint tic, and another 1/2" mark- not really a scratch that doesn't sound at all. I played a CD copy of the LP several times searching for flaws; the surfaces are silent except for this. The record sounds magnificent. 
The cover is near mint except for a 2" split on the top seam. The record was cleaned on a VPI and sound tested on a Linn Sondek LP 12. CD copies of the LP were repeatedly reviewed to check sound quality.
