Description
Metallica 'In From the Cold' 8 Track Test Pressing LP record with proof sleeve. This is a black vinyl test pressing (plain white labels with no writing) for the Metallica 'In From the Cold' LP. The record includes eight tracks taken from December 13, 1986 during the Canadian leg of their Damage Inc Tour. This tour was in support of their classic album 'Master of Puppets'. The band were braving on after losing their original bass player Cliff Burton who lost his life in Sweden on September 27, 1986. After many auditions Cliff was replaced by Jason Newsted and the tour carried on six weeks after the accident, November 8, 1986.
Side One Battery / Master of Puppets / For Whom the Bell Tolls / Welcome Back (Sanitarium).
Side Two Whiplash / Seek & Destroy / Creeping Death / The Four Horseman.
Each side is about 18 minutes in duration.
The front sleeve is very basic with the band name and record title. The back of the sleeve has track listings + several photos from that era. Please note with this being a proof sleeve it is in two pieces. The front of the sleeve is one piece and the back of the record sleeve is one piece (two pieces total). Labels are plain with no writing on them.
Record, record sleeve are in new conditon, unplayed! (We will include a thick PVC Sleeve To Protect the Record Jacket Forever).
