Description

Original 1984 U.S. first pressing of Ride the Lightning by Metallica, released on Elektra Records (catalog #: 60396-1) and pressed by Specialty Records Corp., as identified by the “SP” etched matrix in the deadwax. This is the first Elektra version issued after the band’s move from Megaforce, and includes the label credit for Megaforce as well.
