You are bidding on a rare Metallica collectible. This is a 1988 test pressing done for Elektra for the ...And Justice For All Promo single in the USA. The final promo version is rare on it's own. The test pressing is even more so. I don't know now many of these were made. I've seen some estimates of only in the range of a couple hundred, but I'm not sure. This record is in great shape. I have never played it. It is in a plain white cardboard sleeve with a white label that reads : "Test Pressing from specialty records corporation. Account: Elektra , Artist: Metallica, MTX No: ST-ED-5396-A (Side A) and ST-ED-5396-B (Side B), Rec No: ED 5396Dy . Side A is ...And Justice For All (edit). This was a radio edit that shortened it up for airplay and Side B is the full ...And Justice For All track. There is nothing wrong with the sleeve...Just some very minor outlining of the album beneath. The vinyl itself is in excellent shape. Nothing but a little dust. It's been on the shelf in my collection since around 1991 or so. This is a great collectible for the Metallica fan and one that is getting more and more rare as these are snapped up for people's collections. Buyer to pay shipping. Paypal is preferred.
