Mercyful Fate - In The Shadows (Vinyl LP Record) Sealed. Vinyl LP pressing. Fronted by theatrical rocker King Diamond before and in the midst of his celebrated solo career, not many bands can claim to be as influential as Mercyful Fate. As one of the early purveyors of true metal, the band's impact is felt far and wide; from the new wave of black metals' Cradle Of Filth and Dimmu Borgir to international metal gods Megadeth and Metallica. Metal Blade is pleased to offer up a vinyl re-pressing of Mercyful Fate's 1993 album In the Shadows, the group's third full-length album overall and excellent comeback release following a near decade hiatus. King Diamond, guitarists Michael Denner and Hank Shermann, bassist Sharlee D'Angelo, and drummer Snowy Shaw are in prime early-80s form here, proving that they were indeed back and tighter than ever.
