Description

       Here is a beautiful copy of Meat Loaf's  "Bat Out of Hell" Picture Disc on Epic/ Cleveland Records E99 34974 from 1978. This is the Picture Disc version of Meat Loaf's 1977 LP "Bat Out Of Hell."

      This LP was in my collection since the 1970's when I bought it. The late 70's and 1980's were the decade of the picture disc!
      Naturally, since it has been sealed all these years, both the disc and the cover are in totally Mint condition!
      Notice that there is a sticker placed at the top left of the front cover that reads: "There is no return or exchange on this item." If I recall correctly that was because picture discs didn't sound quite as good as their regular vinyl counterparts. So, the retailer didn't want people to think the picture disc didn't sound as good as the regular LP and was therefore defective and so wanted to return it. It was because it is a picture disc.
    Anyway, here is a great looking picture disc that is 47 years old and is still sealed!
