This NEAR MINT 1979 UK 1st pressing is on a the Parlophone picture label: PCTC 257

The side 1 label carries a square cornered genuine 'FACTORY SAMPLE' sticker.

Housed in an thick card, matt, unlaminated cover, complete with die-cut printed card inner sleeve.

Matrix numbers: YEX-987-2 & YEX-988-2
Stamper numbers: 4/MR & 1/ML

Both surfaces are MINT viewed in natural light and bear just a few wispy paper hairlines when viewed directly under a halogen desk lamp.
Otherwise, this is a pristine disc with no other marks or any scratches to either side.
Quality, sharp-edged vinyl which lies 100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.

Audio: NEAR MINT

Played just TWICE this is a superb 'as new' sounding disc with no trace of crackle or groovewear distortion in either channel or on any track.
Both run-ins & all bands are completely silent and there are no clicks, jumps or repeats anywhere.

Cover: EXCELLENT MINUS

Very strong & vibrant panels with light handling & storage wear but no major faults.
There are some light spine creases & a few spots of black ink 'touch-up' but no damage to the opening edges.
The spine is undamaged & all seams are strong & unsplit.

Inner: EXCELLENT MINUS

8cm split to one edge, otherwise Excellent.

Strict visual grading in daylight and directly under a halogen desk lamp.

All discs are carefully play graded in their entirety on a Rega P9 deck with an Ortofon Kontrapunkt 'A' cartridge.
