Description

In the late 1950s/early 60s, labels distributed by DECCA in the UK pressed demo copies on one side only.

This A side was sent to the record critic of the News Chronicle (later absorbed by the Daily Mail) in 1959. I don't know if he reviewed it but he gave it to my father, who worked there. He gave it to me. I played it once then put it away, where it's been ever since.

There are some superficial marks on it which don't affect playback. Otherwise it's in glossy condition with no sign of wear.
