Description
Extremely rare psych rock classic from 1990, private pressing on Fungus Records, limited edition (only 1000 copies were ever made), individually stamped and numbered, lovely printed PVC sleeve, enormous fold out trippy poster, 3 album sized inserts, and record in excellent condition.
Is it any good? No, it's fantastic! Similar to Ozric Tentacles and their influences (Gong, Hillage, Hawkwind etc), this lot had a small but dedicated following in the late 80's and early 90's, especially on the festival circuit. The music is very spacey, jam-oriented psych which will appeal to all fans of the aforementioned bands. Contains their superb version of The Beatles' 'Tomorrow Never Knows'.
The poster is huge, a trippy fractal type thing in luminous pink and green, however it does have four small drawing-pin holes in the corners as I used to have it on my walls as a daft young'un! The printed PVC sleeve is also beautiful, the 3 inserts are in excellent condition, and there's even a cutting from Sounds in there from the week it was released, confirming its' limited edition status.
This really is one you can't miss, is highly collectable, beautiful and valuable, and one which I will be very sad to see go. Give it a good home, eh? ;-)
