Description

This is the original Promo copy (see second picture) of the Mad Season "Above" LP. 
This is one of the actual records that was provided to the band upon release of the album.  

John Baker Saunders owned this particular copy and it was one of 8 promo copies that he sold to a used record store in Seattle only a week or so before his death. The money he acquired selling those records would have been spent during his last days with us.
This record was signed by Mike McCready around 8 years ago.  I had a number of items signed by him that day and this signature was very unique for Mike.  I remember Mike's hand tensing up when he got to this item and his signature was stiff and far less fluid than the rest of the items he signed for me.  It's been well documented that Mike struggled with the Mad Season era and only recently has he embraced that part of his life.
The cover is VG+ with a few imperfections, most notably minor ring wear.  The records are NM- with a few minor surface marks on side 1.  This is a very good but not perfect copy of this record.
