MUSTARD SEED FAITH - Sail on Sailor LP 1975 RARE XIAN PROG PSYCH AOR - Rick Griffin with Insert!!  

COVER CONDITION: VG+ (Cover looks great overall. A bit of shelf wear, mainly around the edges and also a slight bit of ringwear, but nothing at all visually distracting or ugly. A very nice looking copy of this rare xian, prog, folk, AOR LP with the fantastic Rick Griffin cover artwork!!)

INSERT CONDITION: VG+ (Insert is actually included, chock full of info and lyrics on both sides!! Also in great shape! See pics below)

VINYL CONDITION: EX (Vinyl is extremely shiny and in amazing condition with only a few barely visible scuffs that in no way effect play. Music plays notably clean and STRONG with no real noise at all. Played once by me and likely only once or twice ever before that. This copy belonged to a local Xian rock radio station and most likely didn't get any airplay. Labels look like new with tight spindle holes.)

This auction is for an original pressing of the fantastic "SAIL ON SAILOR" lp by MUSTARD SEED FAITH, released in 1975. A rather hard to find proggressive AOR xian rock LP that at times also sucessfully veers into a very distinctive psych folk mode. It's a hard one to really describe or categorize really, but it definitely shares similarities in style with some Neil Young albums as well as The Beatles Abbey Roads era recordings. The vocals have that Neil Young feel and the keyboards and synthesizer add that Abbey Roads edge. In short: this MUSTARD SEED FAITH lp is fine progressive psych-tinged AOR record that is likely to win over new fans as well as well as those that have already heard it before, a rarity that lives up to it's hype. A lot of people really love the Rick Griffin artwork, and this LP has got it! Also included is the most often missing lyric sheet insert. past copies of this LP missing the included insert have sold for upwards of 30 dollars.
