From the collection of the late Joel Dorn, legendary Atlantic Records producer and Philadelphia radio broadcaster -

MULATU ASTATKE AND HIS ETHIOPIAN QUINTET "AFRO-LATIN SOUL" LP - On WORTHY Records, W-1014.  Extremely rare 1966 MONO 12" LP, double sided DEEP GROOVE with pristine cherry red labels.  Very sought after debut LP from legendary Ethiopian vibraphonist Mulatu Astatke, on private label out of Brooklyn NY.  Thick, heavy vinyl; thick cardboard cover.  The vinyl is visibly in phenomenal M- condition (beautiful gloss), virtually unplayed, absolutely stunning!!  It plays with some light audible crackle throughout the record, in common with all copies.  The cover is in superb shape, displays wonderfully.  There are NO significant seam splits, NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  The songs are:  I Faram Gami I Faram; Mascaram Setaba; Shagu; One for Buzayhew; Alone in the Crowd; Almaz; Mulatu's Hideaway; Askum; A Kiss Before Dawn; Playboy Cha Cha.
