DESCRIPTION & TITLE.

This EP is one of around 40 rare Jazz and Blues records I will soon be listing on Ebay.They will all be mailed in the proper envelopes with stiffeners and PVC covers for protection.I won't have time to listen to them all,so grades are mainly visual unless stated otherwise.These records are in stunning condition,but many are old recordings taken from the 1920's onwards,so sound quality is not always as good as expected.

This record must not be confused with the Mississippi blues ep by Muddy Waters,but without Little Walter.That was on the LONDON label,and came out a year after this 1955 Vogue EP.(That record was in this collection,but as I was buying this box from a Bootsale,a friend of mine got the others,he has EP's of the same quality as this,I think some of them are demos too)

Most of the track listing and info should be apparent from the pictures.As I scanned them in the Highest Pixcels I could upload to Ebay,you ought to be able to save the pictures,and then using something like Windows picture and fax viewer,zoom in for more detail,without loosing picture quality.

 Excellent++.Superbly glossy,no deep scratches,no warps,lovely and clean.The only thing which prevents me saying Near Mint Minus is the very lightest of hairline paper marks or possibly wipemarks.There really are not many,increadibly hard to spot.This is a truely amasing condition,I think my grading is fair,I can't believe you will ever find better,and this is 52 years old.Sound quality is fantastic,there is the slightest of crackles in places,it certainly takes second place to the outstanning music,and can' be heard over the music,probably just the fact that this is an old recording.

LABELS:

Excellent+,please see the photos below,note the absence of spindlemarks,this record has hardly been played I feel.As you may know from my Ebay name,I am a big Dylan fan,I love the Harmonica,and the harmonica is some of the best I have ever heard,I can't understand why this record has not been played to death by now.The collector must have had the good sence to keep records nice,knowing they would increase in value over the years.I would not be suprised to get over £150 for this,where would you find another?

SLEEVE:

Sleeve is as seen in my photo,Excellent+.Lovely and clean,but as with many old laminated sleeves,the rear has a habbit of slightly warping,which has happened here,and is well highlighted by the shadows in the scan.Please also note the appearence of a 5mm tear to the middle of the opening side of the front sleeve,again highlighted clearly in my scan,it does not look as bad when you actually look at it,the same applies to the condition of the rear.Generally,this sleeve is clean,has sharp corners,and sharp bold print.A real gem,and flipbacks are firmly attached.

Sorry about the photo quality,it is the best I can do with my old cheap camera.

Very Good-Been Played many times,no major deterioration in sound,despite noticeable surface marks,occational light scratch.Normal wear & tear on the cover or extra items,without major defect is acceptable.

Good-Played so much,used so much,sounds bad,many problems such as splits,stains etc.

Fair-Just Playable-not nice.
