Description

When a vinyl record goes into production, there is a process.

First, the music is mastered for vinyl.

Second, vinyl mothers are cut, they are a hard waxy material.

Third, metal stampers are molded off of the wax mother.

It is the metal stampers that press the vinyl into actual records for your listening pleasure...

A set of stampers lasts for about 1500 records...sometimes less, sometimes more, depends on the vinyl color (colored vinyl blows them out faster than black, i don't know why).

AND ONE SET OF METAL STAMPERS

FOR THE MR-053 MAN'S RUIN RELEASE BY THE SEX PISTOLS, with THE UGLY on the b-side!

Also included in this auction are TWO Man's Ruin stickers from the VERY FIRST run of stickers ever made by the label!

The stampers are real, genuine, these were used by the record plant to manufacture this record for Man's Ruin Records.

The 7" record is in NEVER PLAYED, MINT CONDITION.

Stampers are generally destroyed by the vinyl plant when they burn out, at the approval of the record label. Man's Ruin pulled theirs when they went "bad" and saved them. Stampers are RARE and VERY COOL.
