I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Fair / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.
MOTORHEAD.
THE COMPLETE MOTORHEAD KIT.
ORIGINAL 1982 CANADA MERCURY / BRONZE 12" EP.
This is complete with the Patch / Poster / Programme Book.
Hard to find this complete, there is normally something missing with this set!
The Cover / VG+ condition / The top left hand corner has crease wear. The rest of the cover is smart with some light storage wear.
The Record / EX- condition. A clean disc with some light surface wear only. The disc has a super original gloss and plays great. Both labels are in top condition.
Inner / VG condition. A small split to the bottom edge. Otherwise the red inner is still clean with some creasing. The record is now housed in a new white inner cover.
Poster / VG+ condition. One small (not bad) 1" tear at the bottom of the poster on the fold.
Programme Book / EX- condition with light wear only.
Patch / EX condition.
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear. The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
