Description

This is the original pressing of the Monotone's hit Book of Love. This was released in December of 1957 on the Mascot label. In 1958 it was reissued by Argo Records because the tiny Mascot label couldn't keep up with the demand. Both sides of this record play very clean. The vinyl is pristine with just a couple surface rubs on the Book of Love side and a tiny scratch at the very edge of the record on both sides. None of this affects the playability at all. The vinyl is still so shiny you can make out the manufacturing defects in the vinyl. It looks like the record was played just a few times and has set in its wrapper untouched since the 50s.
