BEAUTIFUL MINTY CLEAN IN ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINK WRAPPER with the very rare "GET OFF MY CLOUD" sticker on the front of the outside wrapper - In the sixties - most folks tore off the outer wrapper, there went the sticker, making it very rare 45 years later...

Original 1965 VINYL on the old dark wine/maroon colored (not red) LONDON Records label ...in glorious MONO... a GREAT addition to any music collection because this mono release offers different song mixes from the stereo issue and contains a deep bold punch in the sound production -- way different from the stereo copy...

Includes the (clean) original 1965 printed inner sleeve to the pressing...

The first release from 1965; at the time when parents around the universe cited the Rolling Stones as the 'bad boys of rock'n'roll, and indeed they were a crew of louting nasty sneering youths in their garage punk prime ...delivering to fans a terrific blend of r&b swagger stomping garage shout/beat with a snotty punk attitude, all one needs to hear is the thumping of "She Said Yeah" and you'll know why about EVERY aspiring 60's garage band in every corner of the States wanted, wished and hoped to be the next Rolling Stones....

December’s Children contained two classic Rolling Stones singles. “Get Off Of My Cloud” was the follow up single to “Satisfaction” and also reached number one. Charlie Watts' short drum introduction to the song is instantly recognizable forty years later. Keith Richards and Brian Jones intertwine their guitars in a classic duet. Following this album, Brian Jones would begin his odyssey through various instruments and sounds and his guitar output would be less of a factor.

“As Tears Go By” was originally a hit for Mick Jagger’s girlfriend Marianne Faithful. Here Mick Jagger brings his raspy blues voice to this ballad of hurt and pain. It is interesting to compare the two interpretations of this song as they are so different.

In addition to “As Time Goes By” there were three more original ballads. “Blue Turns To Grey,” “I’m Free” and “The Singer Not The Song” are melody-rich groovy Stones creations.

“Talkin’ Bout You” is a good vehicle for the Stones to take in a blues direction with assault & punch.

“You Better Move On,” is given a soulful vocal by Mick Jagger.

“I’m Moving On”  Bill Wyman’s thumping bass and Brian Jones slide guitar move this once rural tune over in a rock vein. It is the Rolling Stones at their innovative best.
