In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Issued near 30 years ago, the PRE-RELEASE issue is VERY desireable & collectible as it contains the famous (large) lapping tongue sticker on front cover with song titles. The regular stock copy does not have the tongue logo sticker.
As well, a GOLD PROMOTIONAL stamp and GOLD numbered (limited edition) promo stamp is in top right corner (see photos...)

Released in 1981, this album features cuts and rarities including three tracks that were unavailable until know, 'Everything Is Turning To Gold', When The Whip Comes Down', & 'If I Was A Dancer' (Dance Part 2)
The key is the sequencing and the rarities. "Shattered" closed "Some Girls" but opens this set, followed by its non-lp b-side, the Jagger/Richards/Wood "Everything Is Turning To Gold," four-plus minutes of rather a unusual mix of loose funk and grunge, chugging Keith Richard rhythm and rolling rhythms (has Charlie ever relied more on cymbals?) that seem sloppy at first until you realize the seemingly wandering pulse is deliberate and the track builds momentum, climaxing with a pair of unusual, almost Moroccan bits (Sugar Blue's harmonica and x-King Crimson Mel Collins' sax add to the gumbo) that evoke nothing as much as Ornette Coleman's "Dancing In My Head." Raw, steamy, sweaty - yet dynamic and exciting, definitely a keeper. The original side two opened with the live "Mannish Boy" that is here in a superior mix to the "Love You Live" version - a hot, inspired take on Muddy Waters' classic from the infamous El Mocambo club show of 1977, with the whole band doing what comes naturally, but better. Another live track, the previously unreleased "When The Whip Comes Down" is next, and this relentless, breathtaking version shows the Keith/Ron guitar team at a peak circa '78, and the new remaster preserves the grunge and the recaptures the sting in this dirty piece of Stones rock - it's four-and-a-half minutes packs more energy and is more focused than the entire "Love You Live" and "Still Life" concert sets. Collectors may be happy to have rediscovered it. Finally, the six-minute unreleased (or "Part 2") version of the funk gem "If I Was A Dancer," with developed lyrics (unlike the "Emotional Rescue" version) and splendid guitar interaction from Keith and co-author Ron Wood, who also plays the funk bass. The rare stuff on this LP has some of what makes them a great one, at their post-"Some Girls" peak - prime examples of deep blues, languorous funk, and punky high energy rock 'n' roll.
