MINT Melvins-Pigskin/Starve Already 7" SIGNED SET AmRep

We've been organizing the AmRep archives lately & came across some rare 7" which means it's your lucky day!

 Here's something I don't think we've ever auctioned, a a set of both versions of the Melvins' Pigskin/Starve Already 7"(Scale 104).

These were released in March 2006 by Amphetamine Reptile Records was sold at  2 concerts in Minneapolis, MN on March 24th and 25th of that year. The first night was at the Soo Visual Arts Gallery where the silk screened cover art was by Aesthetic Apparatus & the record was on black wax. The second show was at Grumpy's Bar in downtown Minneapolis.  The cover art for that gig was by Burlesque of North America & on clear wax. These shows took place on the opening nights of the 2006 Juxtapoz art show hosted by SooVAC and OX-OP galleries in Minneapolis. The set up for auction contains both cover & vinyl variants.

On top of that, both sleeves are SIGNED by both Buzz & Dale & they also wrote a sentiment in each. In the AA cover, Buzz wrote "Thanks for the Blowjob" & in the BONA one, Dale wrote "F U." Both sleeves are in wonderful condition as well.

"No shenanigans this time with the exclusive single made for the Melvins Minneapolis Juxtapoz/Grumpy’s shows, it is two original ROCKERS.  Experimental? Yes. Noise pieces? No. Buzz on guitar and vocals. Dale on drums, well except the B-side which has Grant Hart (of Hüsker Dü fame) playing drums. HAZE XXL (Halo Of Flies) has chipped in some bass, guitar, and back up vocals as well. Two exclusive original songs with no plans for being released elsewhere anytime soon. The Melvins played 2 shows and there was a different sleeve design for each night. The singles for sale here are signed by one or more members of the band , and Grant Hart was even around to sign some himself. AmRep takes no responsibility for any of the views or opinions in some of the secret messages contained within these sleeves as they are the opinions of the band members themselves (ha-ha). The signatures are inside the sleeves and not on the outside as the sleeves are too damned pretty to go and have musicians coloring on ‘em."

This is the only set I plan to put up on eBay for a long, long time so once this sells we won't have another in the foreseeable future. Good luck!
