We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.  We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +20,000 positive feedback.   We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied.   5. thus the vibrant audio micro-press is exactly as pre-released.
Never knew of or seen but two copies of this rarity before and this is the second of two we had stored in the vaults for years. Thought we had just one copy, but located a second - and last!

  3. Since the release of "No Rest for the Wicked" in 1976, it’s stature among collectors of 60s and 70s hard rock (HEAVY PSYCH) psychedelia has grown steadily over the years, with original copies now fetching a large sum in the collectors market.

  4. It has often been lauded as perhaps the best independent U.S. heavy rock release of the entire 1970s.

  6. Originally formed as Truth in 1969 in Iowa, USA, this power trio was named after a record by Jeff Beck.

  8. Between 1973-75 they played thousands of gigs, many with MOUNTAIN's Leslie West, as well as playing with BLUE OYSTER CULT at a festival in Davenport, Iowa in front of 20,000 hard rock fans.

    All the while, Truth & Janey were writing original material, gearing up to record their first full length album.

  10. In 1976, they laid down the tracks that would see release on their stunning No Rest for the Wicked album later that same year. The record featured six original tunes and two traditional blues covers revved up in true powerhouse Truth and Janey fashion.

    Only 1,000 copies of the album were pressed on the local Montross records. Just as the ball started rolling, it all ended, as Denis Bunce left the group and quickly thereafter they completely disbanded.

  12. In a last ditch effort, guitarist Billy Janey reformed the group with all new members in 1977 and released the (inferior) Just a Little Bit of Magic album, but it was a move in a completely different direction and has little to do with the ferocious hard rock Marshall 100-watt Super lead guitar sound that dominates the mighty No Rest for the Wicked. A total heavy sonic assault!

 Further more, the "fan-man" adds: TRUTH & JANEY '60s power trio format made famous by Cream and the Jimi Hendrix Experience sent inspirational shock-waves across the rock and roll universe, and among the most isolated examples of its influence must have been eastern Iowa's extremely obscure cult hard rock band
Truth and Janey.

Taking their name from the seminal Jeff Beck Group TRUTH album, vocalist/guitarist Billy Janey, vocalist/bassist Steven Bock, and drummer Denis Bunce began penning original material, recorded a pair of singles in 1972/1973, and then evolved into Truth and Janey when informed that another band already held rights to the Truth moniker before them. Arduous roadwork in the neighboring states kept the band busy in years to come, but the absence of a major record deal eventually drove them to finance their own album -- a fierce and bluesy hard rocker to be entitled No Rest for the Wicked -- at a studio in nearby Ames, IA.
