Description

A nice mono pressing of the Bags Meets Wes album by Milt Jackson and Wes Montgomery on Riverside (RLP 407). This one also features Wynton Kelly, Sam Jones and Philly Joe Jones. Although it is a bit hard to make out because of the color scheme, the front cover reads "Monaural 407" in the bottom left corner. The address on the back reads: "Riverside Records are produced by Bill Grauer Productions, Inc. / 235 West 46th Street / New York City 36, New York."

The blue and silver labels read "RIVERSIDE Long Playing Microogroove - Bill Grauer Productions Inc. New York City." The hand-etched matrix reads "RLP-12-407." There is also a microphone with two reels logo at the top of the label. This pressing has a deep groove.

The front cover has some light wear and scratching (a bit more in the bottom left corner). In the top left corner there is a small faded "R 310" written in blue pen. The corners are all dinged. The top and bottom edges are both worn with some paper splitting (not all the way through though). The spine does have about an inch split toward the bottom. The back cover has some discoloration along the open edge. There is a small square-ish blemish in the top right corner (looks like a label was removed). There is also a small red stamp of what looks like the sun underneath the title.

The vinyl is VG+ (8 out of 10, looks great, used but not abused with some sleeve scuffs and lines). This LP comes from a non-smoking home. The record you see in the picture is the record you will receive.

Shipping will be $4.00 for media mail in the U.S. I ship internationally -- but prefer that international bidders contact me first. I usually ship within 24 hours of receiving payment. I will combine shipping if you win multiple items. Also, I tend to recycle boxes, but I always make sure to pack items, particularly records, securely.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I try to give prompt, thorough answers and I am willing to provide additional pictures (you'll probably have to provide an email address).

Also, please contact me first before bidding if you have zero feedback. I will only ship to a confirmed address.

Check out my other items that are up for grabs. This week it's a batch of LPs on the Riverside and Jazzland labels.
