MILLER ANDERSON Hemlock (Deram SML 1102) RARE Original UK 1st Pressing MINT-
Here`s a RARE original UK first pressing of "Hemlock" by Miller Anderson`s Hemlock, released on Deram Records (1973). This is an original pressing, NOT a re-issue!
Aiming for the more "progressive" end of the market, "Hemlock" was Miller Anderson`s second try at solo success after leaving Keef Hartley`s band. The musicianship was uniformly excellent, with Mick Weaver on keyboards being of special notice. Sadly though, "Hemlock" sank without a trace...making this album a rare collectors item all these years later!
GRADING:
MINT- COVER with only very minimal signs of wear. Very light scuffing to bottom edge. Please see photos for details.
MINT- RECORD with a few light hairlines from sleeve removal only. There is a lone spindle line on side 2. The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read as "XZAL 12491 P-2" on both sides.
PLEASE NOTE: Over the next few months, we will regularly be offering a number of rarities, mainly progressive and avantgarde records: A very discerning, long-time collector friend left us his treasure chest! Not only are many of these lps extremely rare, they are almost all in MINT(-) condition - both inside and out.
As we approach Christmas, we will be spreading the goodies out, in no special order. Suffice to say that the best is still to come!
