Description

This is a copy of an obscure single by Michael Blessing: "The New Recruit" b/w "A Journey with Michael Blessing" on the Colpix label (CLP - 787). Released in 1965. Michael Blessing was the pseudonym for Michael Nesmith (who also recorded under his real name). This was one of Nesmith's solo singles before he landed the part for the NBC series, "The Monkees." If you've seen his audition footage, he even introduces himself as Michael Blessing.

Produced by Bob Krasnow and Sam Ashe for Predawn Productions. Songs also written by Krasnow and Ashe.

Record is in EX condition. Labels are clean, with no writing, stickers, or tears. Vinyl has high gloss and only a few very light paper scuffs. Gorgeous copy.
