Cafe Records is a label that Mobile Fidelity started when they decided to do their own recordings instead of using someone else's tapes. It was a short lived project, but what they did produce was very well done, and pressed in very small quantities. Only the best went into this particular recording - microphones modified by Joseph Grado, microphone pre-amps by Mitchell Cotter, and the Studer A-80 tape deck was modified by Mark Levinson. And of course; it was given the half speed mastering that MoFi was famous for, and pressed in Japan on JVC virgin vinyl. Very punchy sound.

The record shows no signs of play, with no marks or scratches on the vinyl. The jacket is also beautiful with no splits, dents or promo holes. NOT a cutout! As close to a new copy as you will find. It is from a smoke free, pet free audiophile home.
It has been professionally cleaned on a VPI-27 Typhoon record cleaning machine and then on a KL Audio Ultrasonic record cleaning machine.
