Description
Up for auction is a Mobile Fidelity Anadisc 200 SEALED Copy of Cat Stevens "Teaser And The Firecat".
These Records are Serialized.
The Section Where the Serial Number usually is printed - is Blank.
I've heard several explainations for this over the years, that they are made near the begining or near the end of the run.
I don't know, but whatever number it is - the run only produced 5000 copies.
I bought this as a "Backup" many years ago in case I ever wore out my listening copy (Serial # 3882).
My copy never wore out and still sounds incredible, so my sealed copy is going up for auction.
About the LP.
Cat Stevens is one of the Artists that insisted on High Quality recordings, most do not care much about that.
The Anadisc 200's are a unique Recording/Pressing Technology only used by Mobile Fidelity.
The Improvement over "Regular records" or even the "Regular Mobile Fidelity LP's" are DRAMATIC.
I've been in to High End Audio for a long time and the Detail and Fidelity of this LP is among the BEST records I've ever heard.
Luckily I like Cat Stevens music, but if I didn't - I'd listen to it anyway just for the Extreme Fidelity Experience.
I have several records I regularly listen to even though the music is not "My type" - just because they have such high fidelity.
There are not many of these left that are SEALED.
