Description
This Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs UHQR (Ultra High Quality Record) of The Alan Parsons Project "I Robot" is number 4839 of a limited edition of 5000. The Mobile Fidelity catalog number of this title is MFQR 1-084. The outer box has some condition issues, but the record itself is in great shape.
The outer box is in solid condition, with all four corners intact, but it appears that the lid may have had some liquid spill on it at one time (before it came into my possession). The lid to the box is slightly cupped, and it has some minor warping near the center of the bottom edge (see the first picture). There is also some shelfwear along the bottom edge. The rest of the packaging materials are in good condition. The inner cardboard jacket has a crease across the bottom left-hand corner, but it is otherwise in good shape. The Certificate of Authenticity (#4839) also has some minor creases. There is NO Technical Specifications pamphlet, but both foam inserts and the cardboard protector that slips over the disc are present.
The disc itself is in VG++ to EX condition, with no marks that I could see. It has recently received a professional ultrasonic cleaning by Audio Video Archives of Cleveland (operating under the eBay ID of effgjm). It was placed in a new Mobile Fidelity innersleeve immediately after cleaning, and has not been played since that time. The original Mobile Fidelity innersleeve will also be included.
