MEV/AMM Live Electronic Music Improvised LP Mainstream Original RARE!

Stunning copy, the best I have ever seen, of this massively rare totemic experimental/improvised music LP from 1970 that pairs a side each from MEV – Italy’s Musica Elettronica Viva – and London’s AMM. Here MEV feature Alan Bryant, Ivan Vandor, Richard Teitelbaum, Frederic Rzewski and Alvin Curran. AMM are Keith Rowe, Cornelius Cardew, Lou Gare, Eddie Prevost and Christopher Hobbs. As with all original copies (with the blue/black logo) the labels have been switched, and the MEV side is in fact the AMM side and vice-versa. The AMM piece is an excerpt from their performance at The Crypt cut-up with random insertions of silence. MEV perform their monolithic Spacecraft piece. Long one of the most desirable avant garde LPs, this one comes with the gatefold sleeve in Mint condition and an LP that plays perfectly, Ex++ to Mint despite what looks like some superficial pressing marks.
