METALLICA - Ride the Lightning 1984 original press Elektra (Specialty records corp., USA)

This is considered to be the most aggressive sounding press of Ride the Lightning available. It is the heaviest, darkest, and most atmospheric pressing compared to any other version, including all originals or reissues/remasters pressed anywhere in the world. Superior sound even compared to the first Megaforce pressing due to better mastering (and much more affordable). 

This vinyl has few very light hairlines that do not affect play. Still quite a lot of original gloss, no deep scratches. Surface noise/crackling only, not overpowering at full steam, only evident between songs/very quiet parts. Solidly a VG, and sounds even better for most of the album, just being conservative. No significantly distracting clicks/pops. Obviously there are no skips or loops. You can see this is in great condition for the age in the photos. Very clean labels. Comes with original inner sleeve, there is a split down one side, so the record is kept in an archival sleeve. Jacket in great shape, minor ring wear and corner dings, no tears or creases. No marking/defacing anywhere on label or sleeves. Just got the disc ultrasonically cleaned at my local shop. 

This is a very respectable OG listening copy that still has a lot of life! Get your hands on this to experience RtL in its purest form, and at a reasonable price.
