Although the likes of Venom, Merciful Fate and Motorhead came before them, forging what became known as speed metal it wasn’t until Metallica ~  Kill ‘Em All arrived in July 1983 that thrash metal was born.

Vinyl - VG+/Exc - Beautiful shine & gloss - No deep scratches/skips/repeats etc. Shows faint visual shadowing/papers cuffs & handling -  Play Graded - Sounds Absolutely Amazing!! *As with any Vintage Vinyl Not Marked as MINT - you may hear faint background noise/ pops/clicks etc.

Matrix/Dead Wax  - Sterling Sound Press ~ DMM1~ STE 60439A/B

"DMM"  (Direct Metal Mastering)  ~ Vinyl pressings are described as having a "forwardness" in the high frequencies... giving rise to more upper frequency levels & less surface noise. DMM vinyl's are cut with a very different tonality to traditionally manufactured vinyl LP pressings. Direct Metal Mastering requires a radically different cutting angle than traditional (lacquer) cutting, almost 0 degrees. This electronic processing accounts for the "signature sound" of DMM records. NM - Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new. EX+- close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect play. EX- A used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear. VG+- There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few scuffs - could include light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, still plays great. VG- significant wear and marks - would b noticeable - may have surface noise -still plays very well with no disruption. Good- Would only sell if the Record/Cover were Rare ~ Highly Desirable and/or Limited/Special Edition vinyl/jacket cover
