I will not give a record a grading of near mint unless I know for a fact that it has been played just a few times at most, or is still factory sealed. Records I grade VG++ will often look near mint. Buyer be advised-realistically with most used records, some surface noise way in the background can be part of the deal, especially in silent grooves between songs, and I always ensure that the records I sell at VG condition or better have superb music audio quality when played on a good system.
