Man this is one great old school influnced release. Wicked Minds are just that Wicked !!! They take the best of the very best early 70's prog-metal and make it all their own! Compelete with rollicking Hammon B3 organ ala Jon Lord, Ken Hensley ect. They definitely have that old Deep Purple, Uriah Heep vibe going on but there is just so much more going on here it's a crime that this is an unheralded recording, it harkens back to an era that musicians weren't musicians unless they were masters of their choosen harmonic weapons.
In the early Nineties three young Italian musicians were playing trash metal and did a support act for MONSTER MAGNET. The famous band their psychedelic hardrock gig that evening inspired the guys, then it took a while until they released an album entitled "Return To Uranus" in 1999, bur for the 1st time on vinyl in 2006.
