Extremely tough to track down original Midas Music pressing original from 1991 from legendary japanese artist, Merzbow & dutch THU20. Only 300 copies of this vinyl in existence, definetely one of the most hard to find MERZBOW releases around!! All the material was recorded during live festivals throughout Europe in the year 1989. Merzbow on this album were besides Masami Akita, Reiko Azuma(metal scrapping violin) & Kiyoshi Mizutani(noises, feedback system). THU20 on this release were Frans de Waard(Kapotte Muziek, Beequeen, Goem, Shifts, Freiband, etc.) Guido Doesborg , Jac van Bussel, Roel Meelkop. Absolutely fantastic material...one of the most highly recommended releases by MERZBOW...and one of the hardest to find...don't lose this chance to add this to your collection NOW!!
Merzbow (?????) is an extreme experimental music project created in Tokyo in 1979 under the direction of musician Masami Akita (????) and is recognized as being one of the earliest projects in what has become known as the 'Japanese noise scene'. Highly prolific, Merzbow has released over 300 CDs, LPs and cassettes since 1979. He has recorded under the names S.C.U.M., Abe Sada, Bustmonster, Flying Testicle,Maldoror, MAZK, Satanstornade, Senssurround Orchestra, Tibeta Ubik, True Romance, Universal Indians, while has split releases with John Duncan and Russell Haswell.
Vinyl in mint condition while cover is excellent-(new except from a split on top!)!! Impossible to track down such a copy of this LP today!!
