A super rare copy of "Things" by Merrell Fankhauser and the H.M.S. Bounty. This album did not go to CD so if you want it, this is the only way to get it.
This is a first pressing all the way with double T1's in the matrix. This copy is in full shrink, no splits in the sleeve, NO WEAR HOLES IN SHRINK. Shrink has high gloss and virtually no ring wear at all. Someone wrote MS on the front cover in pencil and a relief was made. That's the only reason I graded the sleeve Ex and not NM. Written in faded pen on the slick edge (on the shrink not the album itself) reads roughly "I won this album at the YWCA July 21, 1969" again documenting promotion copy and first pressing.
The record plays beautifully and has fantastic depth. Album has been ULTRASONICALLY CLEANED. There are only a few paper scuffs that were not audible on my listening with a quality MMC equipped turntable. Labels are bright with no water damage. No spindle wear. Overall a top copy.
