About 3 years ago, I had the good fortune to buy the complete music collection of one of the two directors of the Australian label, Regular Records, including a huge storage space containing the entire Regular Records Archives. I sold a few odd items about a year ago, and again a few months ago, and the (huge!) balance has remained untouched...until now. It's time to get amongst it all and pull out some nice items...so here goes.
The Archives was loaded with master tapes, video masters, contracts, complete files on each artist...as well as mint copies of virtually EVERY vinyl, CD, and cassette release...PLUS...vinyl TEST PRESSINGS of every release...and this...is one of those test pressings.

CONDITION: (cover/record): (MINT / M-) ...as NEW, looks unplayed! - there are NO spindle marks on the labels...both labels are mint...
As you may or may not be aware, the first copies of this 7" (which was never released in a pic cover) bore the multi-coloured fingerprints of the band-members on the plain white die-cut paper sleeve, along with a rubber-stamped song title/design. That's true. What you may not know, is that Regular sent a few promo copies out with a photo-copied picture insert, the text of which explained a bit about the release (the fingerprinting, etc.). This is one of them.
According to the company director, they made about 30 of these, which they sent out themselves (as opposed to Festival the distributor doing so...as they would normally). There were only TWO of this in the Archives...and the other one sold previously.
If you have any concerns about the accuracy of my gradings, please check my feedback for the odd nice comment from some satisfied folk out there.... (and hopefully you may be able to join their ranks).
