MEGA-RARE!! ORIGINAL UK COPY of the 1964 debut album from The Downliners Sect "The Sect"(Blue/Black Columbia 33SWX 1658) MONO. This was the very first UK album from the Downliners Sect - and their best!! Superb "garage/R'n'B" sound on every track, including "Hurt By Love", "One Ugly Child", "Baby What's On Your Mind", "Cops And Robbers" etc etc. The vinyl has a few surface marks, and the odd very minor scratch, but still loads and loads of surface shine!! Honestly, I've played it through VERY carefully, and apart from the odd crackle in between tracks, plays GREAT!! The sleeve(with flipbacks etc), is in EX condition, with just one small edge crease on the front opening edge, and couple of small stain on the rear cover(see scan), but otherwise, is in VERY NICE CONDITION!! This is a VERY RARE ITEM, and I want to be accurate about the playing condition, so if you require any further details please contact me. Happy to oblige!!
