Record has just a bit more than A handful of scratches on either side. They all appear to be very light, and I would bet that this record still sounds fine. There could possibly be a few audible pops and clicks here and there but likely they are few and far between. VG+
Insert is still in great shape.There is a small crease (1 centimeter) on one corner. The right side has some general wear from handling. Nothing crazy though. VG+
The cover has wear of a slightly more serious nature than the rest of this package.There is Light Ring wear but leaning heavily towards Moderate level. One corner has a Moderate level bend that has resulted in heavy veins in that corner. The longest is 4 inches in length. 2 of the other corners have bends of a similar size but of lesser severity. Still those have also created Moderate veins. The 4th corner is unblemished. The spine edge has only Light to Moderate wear and the title text is all intact. The shelf edge has Severe wear leaning towards Moderate, and the raw cardboard under the cover varnish is exposed for almost the entire length of that edge. The rip has also spread onto the front cover and taken a small chunk of the varnished cover paper off the bottom middle area of the cover. (see close up picture) The 4 corner edges have wear ranging from Light to Moderate. G+
Grades that I use are G-, G, G+, G++, G+++, VG, VG+, VG++, VG+++/EX, NM. I won't be describing anything as M or MINT unless it is unopened and the packaging is completely unblemished. Records that have never been played but HAVE been opened, will be described as Near Mint or NM. These are the adjectives that I use when describing damage: Very Light, Light, Moderate, Severe, Catastrophic. To describe damage in between those ranks I say things like: "Moderate leaning towards Severe," "Moderate leaning towards light," or "In between Light and Moderate"...just for example.
