MAYHEM The Studio Experience 5 Record Box Set
Season Of Mist

4 LPS and 1 7", the ultimate collection! The whole thing is housed in a thick high quality box, with a band timeline from 1984-2001. Each record comes in black cover sleeve with band logo embossed on the front, using a different color on each sleeve.The box consist of the following recordings:

"Deathcrush" (tracks A1 to B4, SOM 054-1), recorded in February & March 1987.
"De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas" (tracks C1 to D4, SOM 054-2), recorded in 1992 & 1993.
"Wolf's Lair Abyss" (tracks E1 to F2, SOM 054-3), recorded in 1997.
"Grand Declaration Of War" (tracks G1 to H6, SOM 054-4), recorded in 2000.
"Freezing Moon/Carnage" (tracks I & J, SOM 054-5), recorded in 1990.

It would be hard to overestimate the influence of MAYHEM on the last twenty years of black metal.  Indeed their name has become synonymous with the genre.  Their mystique is based both on their brutal, uncompromising music and on the infamous fog of death and violent crime that has surrounded the band.  Emerging from the frozen forests of Norway in the mid '80s, MAYHEM set the standards for the newly emerging black metal scene, not only musically but philosophically and in terms of dress and showmanship, as well.

The records are BRAND NEW and UNPLAYED, still in the plastic.
