Description
THIS IS A GREAT COPY OF THE DEBUT LP BY MAY BLITZ ON THE SWIRLY VERTIGO LABEL WITH A CATALOGUE NUMBER OF 6360 007 RELEASED IN THE UK IN 1970. THE RECORD IS BECOMING HARDER TO FIND.
THE SLEEVE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.THERE IS WEAR TO THE CENTER OF THE SPINE BUT YOU CAN STILL READ VERTIGO ON IT. THERE IS LIGHTER WEAR TO THE EDGES. THERE IS A VERY SMALL TEAR [ABOUT 1CM] ON THE INNER GATEFOLD BUT AS YOU YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PHOTS'S IT STILL LOOKS GREAT.
THE VINYL IS IN OVERALL VERY GOOD+ CONDITION. THERE ARE A NUMBER OF LIGHT MARKS ON BOTH SIDES WHICH LOOK LIKE THEY HAVE BEEN CAUSED WHEN REMOVING THE LP FROM THE SLEEVE. THE VINYL HAS RETAINED A GOOD SHINE. I HAVE PLAYED THE LP ON MY SYSTEM AND IT SOUNDS GREAT.IT PLAYS THROUGH WITHOUT ANY SKIPS OR JUMPS. THERE IS SOME LIGHT BACKGROUND NOISE BUT THE MUSIC IS STILL CLEAR AND VIBRANT.
THE LABELS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO WRITING OR MARKS.
THE RECORD HAS THE MATRIX NUMBERS OF 6360007 1Y#1 AND 6360007 2Y#1 WHICH MAKES IT A FIRST PRESS.
THE LP COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL SWIRLY INNER BAG WHICH IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

I USE THE FOLLOWING TO GRADE MY LP'S:-
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
