Description

Did you buy our record-breaking 2005 Help! album? Well you should.  Then you'd recognise this one-off from Maximo Park's art-school trained guitarist Duncan Lloyd - it appears in the album sleeve, and very nice it is too.

War Child were like,'hey can you do us some art?' and the boys from Maximo Park were like 'yea' (lead singer Paul Smith also drew us a nice pic, also appearing on the album). So here it is.   

Measures approximately 10"x7", collage on cartridge paper, signed on the back.  We've whacked it in a wooden block frame, but if you'd prefer to pay less postage we can send just the piece itself.  Winner can specify; postage depends on choice.

This is the second year of War Child Music’s ‘promotional amnesty’: we delve into the mysterious world of music and film companies and return laden with the treasure that you couldn’t possibly hope to get your hands on elsewhere.  These record labels, music and film magazines, games companies and PR companies generously part with their promotional goods so that we can run our annual jamboree, bringing you the things you dreamt of, and raising money for our invaluable work for children affected by war.  Last year we raised over 8 grand - enough to release 160 child soldiers in the DRC for example - providing much needed financial support for our other work in Iraq, Afghanistan and Bosnia.
