"CHOICE CUTS"

Original Stereo LP, Australian pressing on the orange Columbia label SCXO-7983, released 1971.

Up for auction is this classic Master's Apprentices LP recorded at Abbey Road studios. This release is considered by many to exhibit Australian 70's progressive rock at its best with everything from hard, heavy riff- based songs to acoustic masterpieces. The unique 'armchair' cover (by graphic artists Hipgnosis) is instantly reconisable. A rare gem of an record that is hard to find these days.

Condition:

Record - EX :This record is in excellent condition. There are few light surface sleeve scuffs and the occasional hairline only. It plays exceptionally well with powerful dynamics.The record has excellent gloss/sheen. There are no stickers, tears or writing on the labels.

Cover - EX/VG+ : The front cover is graded EX and the rear cover VG+. The front laminated cover is vibrant with great colour saturation and glossiness .There is slight impression ring wear with inconspicuous associated rubbing of the laminate (but no ink loss). There are a couple of creases along the spine but artist name is very legible.Top and bottom of spine corners showing minimal wear.Cover edges and opening very crisp showing negligible wear. Rear cover with some ringwear and associated black ink loss from rubbing. There are a couple of creases on the extreme righthand side of the rear cover. There are no tears, splits, stickers or writing on the cover.

This record would be a highly desirable addition for any collector of Australian 70's progressive rock - even more so because of its excellent condition.
