MASTER’S APPRENTICES – CHOICE CUTS
AUSTRALIAN PROGRESSIVE 70s

Here on auction is one of the classic progressive Australian albums by the superb Master’s Apprentices. Choice Cuts was their third album and definitely one of their best. It signaled the maturity of this great band. The album was recorded on the Columbia Label SCXO 7983 way back in 1971. The classic songs of the album would have to be Rio De Camero, Michael, Easy to Lie, I’m Your Satisfier and of course their beautiful anthem Because I Love You. This album highlights both the Master’s heavy rock side with mean riffs courtesy of ex Missing Links guitarist Glen Ford and the subtle intricate ballads. A great album.
Condition
Vinyl – Lighter surface marks but nothing intrusive. Plays nicely with just the odd pop and crackle. Solid VG+.
Cover – Some ring wear and minor wear – mostly on the spine – VG.
In all a most acceptable copy of this milestone Master’s Apprentices album which saw them develop from a raw psych band to a mature progressive outfit.
